Pizza Tower is among the most enjoyable and relaxing games I've played recently. While it's not an immersive experience, its highly rewarding platformer format makes for an enjoyable experience that rewards the highest scores with a sense of humor. Pizza Tower is an apt spiritual successor to Wario Land series, yet it is different from other games out there. It is a fast, 2D-based platformer that is reminiscent of Sonic games. The appealing art style is influenced by popular Nickelodeon shows such as Ren and Stimpy; each level is filled with hidden goodies along with additional challenges.
The game's main objective is running through levels fast, collecting power-ups that enhance Peppino's moves and attacks and trying to get the highest rank on every level by keeping your score and combos at a high level. Each level includes Custodians that need to be spotted and raced back to at end to earn bonus points. Additionally, there could have hidden secrets or portals to pizza which require you to complete additional laps to score additional points.
Although most levels follow a formulaic path of running through enemies and exploring, certain levels go higher by introducing innovative central hooks that completely alter the gameplay. Pizzascape is one of them thanks to its innovative architecture, making it one of its best-designed levels of the series. Other levels employ different strategies by making use of gimmicks like Five Night at the Freddy's: Don't Make a Sound which requires snooping around the abandoned pizzeria equipped with security systems set to trigger killer animatronics at any sign of sound. These levels are a step higher and further.
The game offers a diverse group of characters as you ascend a pizza tower. Your protagonist is Peppino Spaghetti, a pizza chef looking to keep his restaurant from being destroyed through defeating a clever pizza. Even though the plot may appear odd at times, it's the reason why it such an enjoyable experience!
The movement system in Peppino is quick and intuitive, including a grapple attack with multiple follow-up options. As you progress through levels new capabilities like flying in a spit fire as well as wearing armor or ghost-like will become available. These new abilities add another challenge while giving visual appeal and flair and a bonus layer to keep the players entertained! Each level requires careful play to get to its final destination.
The music in this game is as well funny and fun which makes it impossible to not smile when playing. The cartoonish style of art and silky smooth animation add humorous elements that will keep you laughing while playing and truly make this an entertaining comedy that will pizza tower ios have you laughing out loud throughout all levels! Look out for those sneaky visual gags that'll leave you laughing out loud; the characters' expressions are amazing!
Pizza Tower's pulsating music is the perfect opportunity to lose yourself in its world of pizzazz. From sizzling tracks and Peppino's powerful voice to the delicious samples of Wario Land 4 and Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and Jazz Jackrabbit 2 as well as its remix to Beethoven's famous 3rd Movement Prestista Agitato (Prestisto Agitato) Each song in Pizza Tower offers a different emotions for each level of this game.
"It's Pizza Time!" includes a rousing beat that perfectly captures the nerve-racking excitement of each level, and "Distasteful Anchovi" exudes darkness and darkness. Furthermore, "Funiculi Holiday", the tutorial theme, features a rousing remake of an ancient Nintendo classic "The Noise"s escape phase features a quick-paced version from Ludwig Van Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata third movement as the theme for its escape phase.
The levels at Pizza Tower are all built around an interesting central idea, such as "Bloodsauce Dungeon", where players have to fight off enemies only visible through walls, with jump scares and other special power ups that enable players to see through walls more easily. Each level also has an eerie, yet atmospheric feel to add more excitement!
